40 series cut guards

Hi guys, im building a 40 series and need to cut the rear guards and wondering if anyone has pics of 40 series with the guards cut, a lot of people would have different ideas etc.

I think you cant go wrong if you keep the std. 40 shape, but open it out to the top of the tubs and go back as far as you need to clear the tyre/extra wheelbase.

Yeah mate, Loz's sister is back this weekend before moving to Darwin, so need to see her....but working most of it....(Gotta keep the mods happening to the 40 somehow)...

Book in next weekend but :armsup: Will give you a call regarding the 40's tube rear flares. ;)

The original shorty40 is the :armsup:

The Bargman one looks a bit odd with the rear diff so far back and still having a tub instead of a tray. I have TTC 05 (he competed in it) on DVD and it looks weird at times. But it works for him and he can drive so :cool:
