Any one know which colour the trigger wire on the alternator? Cheers Rhett

Mate I'm not 100% sure without checking with a diagram but almost certain it's black with a yellow trace.

the black with yellow trace is the starter motor solenoid wire .

by trigger what do you mean ?

the alternator uses the IG terminal to excite the diodes (it needs at least 8 volts) this is the black wire with white trace .

And from memory the charge light wire is white with a red trace.
