My missus drives a EB milenuim falcon ,
It has had a intermitent wiring problem and it died today , i managed to find a fried wire coupler behind the battery and cut the wires and just jioned them as a roadside , Now all the power was back but i heard a tiny growling sound from the aircleaner i pulled the lid and the thing had a heap of fuel in there and one or both injectors where running fuel .?
Tried pulling the power lead off to reset things but same problem any ideas Please ?

If this is a CFI system (Center point\Throttle body) Check the TFI module on the distributor. This sends the signal to the ECU to pulse the injectors.

May help.

Thanks daz ,
This sort of problem is exactly why i hate cars with injection and putes.

If it had been a fourby at the bottom of freds hill or somwhere what a pian it could be.

Had the thing towed from her work striaght to the auto elect ,
Can feel the pocket burning already :?

Never seen a manifold fill with fuel like that  Dangerous schid .

TFIs arn't real exxy. They used to be $200+. But cos they fail often ,generally cos of cracked\shorted coils they have come down in price. Go genuine price difference is not much (well trade, anyway) and they last longer.
