does anyone want to sell a uni chip or computer that has been chipped.
is this the only way to pick up power on take off

My Dad used to have a chipped 2.8GU.
If you mean pick-up from stand still then there isn't a lot you can do.
Until it gets on boost those engines have a real hard time getting the car moving. When its on boost all is good.
Chip may assist in getting it to boost a fraction earlier as will a decent 3" dump and exhaust.
