Help with MQ patrol gearing

Hello

I just bought a 1981 MQ SD33 4speed Patrol Hardtop. She has electric brakes fitted for towing and someone has changed the gearing somewhere in her past. I mean she is a rock crawlers dream haha. 4th gear at about 2800 rpm is only just 80kph. Put her in 4 lo and 4th at 2800 rpm is about 17kph you can put her in first and lo and get and walk faster. I want to end up with a bit of a retro tourer not a bush basher. I have a petro GQ for that. My question is can I get the box gears changed so that I can do 90kph at around 2000rpm and still retain the lower first gear? I imagine someone has changed out the difs but I don't know yet. Any thoughts? Again my goal is to tour a little bit with this old girl not really bash about.
