loose gear shifter

Post by islandvitara »

replaced the bush for the gear shifter like 8 weeks ago but theres a lot of movement in all the gears still - like in 1st the gear stick still moves left to right fairly freely!!! same in 2nd 3rd ect

is that normal for a sierra? or is something worn???

worn shifter bolt, goes into the back of the gearbox case where the lever goes in. Are you able to twist or rotate the gear stick?

not so much twist but it moves alot in all the gears mainly 1st 2nd 4rd and 4th. its a lil annoying - moving side to side so easily :x

if its just that bolt that your talkin bout i'll replace it :P

does your shifter do the same in gear or is it more solid - little or no movement??
