What needs to be done? Just replace a broken one?

The boot is totally buggered so I'm guessing the grease is now a slurry. I replace it with another which is now "clicking" with the wheel half way to full lock (either side). I would like to see if the orignal can be rebuilt and if not then I'll have to pull the second one out to get fixed (it will need new boots to but they are still in tact). Had one guy quote $140 but it is a hassle getting to him during working hours. Another closer to me wanted $350. I asked why so much and he said it includes $100 for fitting. Gees, only took me 25min a side to replace. Wish I could get $100 for 25min work. Someone else will do it for $200 including courier to and from my place but not sure if sending it off to the great unknow is a good idea.

any mechanical repair workshop in your area should be able to do the work for you.

If you have any troubles we can do it for you, we are in windsor though.
