Uniden uhf CB GPS105 annoying beeps.

Hey I have a Uniden GPS105 UHF radio in my 4b the prob is when ive finished talking and release the button on the handset it sends out an annoying 3 short beeps to all the other radios me and my mates have all read the instruction manual and tried to get rid of it but no sucess ,any ideas ???

sounds like the transmission finished beep, a lot of radios come with them, but there is usually an option to turn it off on radios that arent totally cheap and nasty. Its an option on the handheld TX610 (GME Cheapie) so surely they have it as an option on the more expensive models!
