A guy at work has the old arb locker out of his 92 hilux dsl 5spd. And would like to know if it will go into the front or rear diff of his 2000mdl hilux dsl 5spd (non turbo 3lt - think it is 5L engine).

He is of the opion that it will go in, except the ratios are different. Which I see as an easy fix change the ratios over from the LSD he pulls out. But would prefer to get a better answer before this happens

No it wont!

I will give him $50 for it :D

Seriously yes it will fit in the rear as long as his Airlocker is an RD23.

Thanks Ruff, I think his reply to the $50 will be "you can go and get :finger: " but I cant say for sure.
Still trying to get him to find out which one he has. I think it may be a RD01. As I remember him saying he had it in the front at one stage.
But will force the point that he needs to find out what he's got then go from there.
