i emailed arbs head office and complained about the 2 broken shockies and the chap from ome production manager.
he said that in extreme offroad driving were you get maximum articulation the side of the shockie eye touches the saddle were it sits until such a time it gets weak and breaks.
there remidie is to linish 3mm of either side of the eye , to give it more clearance when it flexes and they change the bushes to a differant compound that allows more flex.

I broke one of em last Queens birthday holiday up in the High Country in Victoria here.Went to ARB and they replaced the broken one and the other one as well (IN CASE IT WAS ABOUT TO SHIT ITSELF TOO).It was one pretty rough track that i did it on ,but i give full credit to ARB who didnt have an issue replacing them.

Is it just me or do OME shocks seem to have a higher failure rate than other aftermarket shocks?
