Anyone happen to know how to make a warning light bezel for youre dashboard, its the bit of plastic which each individual dash warning light shines through indicating wether the parkbrakes on, high beams, indicators, etc...
Anyway i want to make a custom one and add another few custom warning lights into the spare slots. Is it as simple as designing in dxf and taking to a vinyl cutter then sticking it in reverse onto a suitable strip of plastic, then glue coloured cellophane over the cutouts to give the colour?
Its for a WT sierra if that matters.

Nice work hoppy!

Couple of questions, can you see any of the indicators when the globes behind them are off?
Did you go to a standard vinyl cutting joint as that looks too fine for standard cutters?

yea, you can see the colours, I thought (after or course), to put a translucent grey sticker on first), but you can tell when the light is on

Am looking at my dash decal strip now, looks like on the back of the flexy plastic they stuck the sticker with cutouts, then coloured translucent stickers over that, then on the other side they stuck a matt black translucent sticker.
