hey guys im looking for a track in melbourne,
for an ammiture starting out to learn what my 4x4 can do and to teach myself,
more so a family day out

wow could you be more vague. Did you mean amatuer? Anyway the best bet would be to join a 4wd club as you don't want to be out discovering tracks by yourself. Safety in numbers and all that.
Also what sort of vehicle and what mods f do you have? Have you read thru all the trip reports etc in the trips section as this will give you a godd idea of what is around melbourne
