As above...?
Looking at a new roof lining for a ute. Nissan is only marginally more expensive than having one trimmed up. And i think it would be a better option as you know what your gunna get.
There is only one motor trimmer in the area and I have heard a few mixed reports.
Ni$$ans price is $560 with everything included, bars etc.
Trimmers price is $380-$550. got to supply bars and don't have all the other little bits.

it used to be the case that OE parts were far more expensive and that included servicing but these days they have to be competitive to survive.
Now I ring the dealer for prices and then ring aftermarket suppliers so I can make the comparisons. You also have to examine the quality of what you are getting as some non OE parts are just cheap imported junk so cheaper isnt always the best in the long run.
at those price differences, I would buy the OE part, at least you know if it doesnt fit or is faulty in some way that you will have someone to fix it, try geting the local guy to fix something....most times it just wont happen.

Yep. Thats why I'm thinking a factory one would be just as good and probably better quality.
The problem is that there is only one motor trimmer down this way.
Its a bare shell so taking it to Sydney isn't really an option.
