Outer Limits 4x4 Board

g'day all,
bit new to the toyota chapter..
anyway im lookin at getting a LN65,turbo diesel with most of the work done so i dont have to stuff around building it (already had the zook xperience- over it)

What kind of things should i be looking for when i search for the lux?
eg:
lift -springs,shackles,shocks
tyres
lockers
kms
body - rust spots? any where in particular?
gears.

Ln65s dont come factory turbo so you might have problems with that
How much you wana spend
these often blow heads so make sure th truck goes
also check for rust everywhere
A pillars
firewall
kms arent to big of a problem but under 250 000 would be best

prob under 10 grand
ive got a mate hu's selling one with arb turbo kit,rancho's all round,104000kms springs,35 mtz's for 8 garnd..what you reckon??

sorry i cant say prices are very differant between nz and oz that seems fair depending on condition it would need to be tidy

what year model to the hilux's go to till they go ifs?

i think 1997 was the last yr for solid front. from then may be late 1997 to IFS
