Transfer case gear fitting

wendle how big a jodb was it to fit your low range gearset to your transfercase and did you replace all the bearings and seals .Also did you pull the case out or just the back of and do it under the vehicle if on the bench is it easy to remove the case.

yeah, it's not too bad a job. took me ages as I have no idea, but no too bad..
I did replace all the bearings and seals, only because I didn't know the history of the case that I bought. I know others who have just used all the original bearings and seals with no worries. you wouldn't be able to do it under the vehicle. It is easy to get the case out.

Thanks Wendle for the info which gear set did you get and how much did you pay for it .Do you think in hind sight that you got the right ones as there are a couple of different sets on the market i have no idea which are the best or are they all ok

i got the mark's adaptors ones - about $1200, haven't had a problem with them. awesome product i reckon. good packaging, good instructions...

Thanks very much got to get the 38s orderd by Tuesday so then save for the transfercase gears
