i got a cheap pipe bender. you know the $100 one you see on ebay ect. i only used it for 4 bends when making my tube bar. the beads did crush a little bit but i was ok for the application.
i am now considering making an exo cage for the zook. i want the best of high quality. so was wondaring has anyone know of a good 32NB die that will fit and work on these style of bender?

thanks

Try Blackwoods. They sell Dawn dies. They tend to have a tighter tollerance, but to get a good bend you really need a better bender that has a former to match the die that you are using.

Also if you get a dawn die to use in the elcheapo bender, you will need to make a adaptor/ spacer to suit.

As above, its better to borrow or buy a proper bender. i have a dawn 32nb if you want it, $50.. has been smoothed already.

making up a spacer shouldnt be a problem i dont think. are the formers the 2 end bits that move to suit the pipe size? if you get what i mean

I recently made a set of sliders with my Ebay cheapo bender.
32Nb fits nicely in a 32 die.
Cut a piece of 40Nb about 120mm long and then slice it lengthwise in half.
Place these two pieces on the pipe you are bending under the formers to stop your pipe crushing.
Works well if you use Nb sized pipe.

Sounds like the pipe you are using is too small diameter OR too thin wall.
When I use 32Nb I get medium wall. 2.5-3.0mm

i was using steel from one steel. 32nb medium. the bends did kink so then i got 32nb heavy. still kinked but for a tube bar was ok and they bends where 45*. if i did a 90 it would have kinked

thanks. what i think it is is the die wasnt made to suit the pipe good enough. no suporting the sides enough causeing it to flaten out then kink

I found if you take it slow it doesn't kink as bad.
