Diff lock interchangability

I have to oportunity to pick up 2 arb lockers out of a 40 series. Just wondering if they will fit the middy?

Anyone know??

I hate to say this but yes they will fit, may need new side gears and depending on the year the flange may need a swap, or you might be better of just picking up the airlocker. Putting it straight into your centre. But $$ on the swapover.

Anyways, what I really meant to say was they are junk, tell me his number so I can ring him and ask him how he sleeps at night trying to sell junk like that. :armsup:

NO NO NO!!! IF they are cheap enough then they are still fine!!

If the FJ40/42/45/47 is from 1978-1984, they will bolt in without a drama! Then they are VERY valuable to you.

If you lose interest, PM me the number, or if you want to know the part numbers for the side bearings to order (they are cheap) then let me know and I can help you out there aswell. I think you should get them, or let one of us know. :armsup:

they are in a shorty a mate wants to buy, but he doesn't want the lockers. wanted to know if they would fit before i offered to buy them. will let you know if their available, cheers bj

btw, they are running off individual compressors, is that odd or did the kit used to come like that?
