im looing at doing the inverted rear shock thing as im not happy with the downward travel in the arse of my surf. and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to make up some kind of a diff locater for the rear. or is there something else thats better?
a you can see in this pic there is lots of travel in the front and the back diff is still almost parallel to the body also gona take a leaf out of the back get some real flex going

Are your shocks maxing out at the moment?

If not, the shocks won't give you more flex, a different spring set-up will though.

In this set-up the shocks are almost useless. If i were to do it again i'd run the shocks vertical, not laying over.

Also, if you were fork lift off the front of the surf, the rear would appear to be work much better.

i only have about 40mm downward shock travel
and if i lift up the front wheel with the forklift it picks the back 1 off the ground

longer shocks, extend the bump stops as to not top the shock out and eventually destroy it
