Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Ive now got a full Hi steer setup on the Hilux and the steering is awful

1 .... I noticed when i start the car i get a horrible bang and feel the steering wheel jerk in my hand

2 .... When taking off in first gear i have a very horrible rattling coming throuigh the steering wheel

3.... Very sloppy steering when trying to drive in a straight line its a good few inches either way to stay straight

Im after ideas how i can rectify this ? Or what to look out for ?

what bits and pieces did you use for your high steer?

who installed it?

is everything done up tight?

does everything clear everything else or is there interference anywhere?

I still reckon the slop is the shackles getting shoved around (car has very long shackles) the bangs and vibes and shit might be the pump cavitating?? check the steering fluid dude..

I'd say to check your steering box mounts did you reinforce the chassis?

sounds like something is loose, or broken.

and if it has long shackle then id say that the noise u getting wen u turn it is the leaves moving around

The main thing pissing me off is the rattle / vibration when taking off in first gear
