hi it all started when i bought the gq. the drivers side low beam didnt work, i removed the light and plugged it into the other side and it worked. so i hooked a wire to the headlight terminal on one side and linked to other side there was some sparks and now no headlights at all on low or high beem also the high beam light on the dash is no longer working i checked fuse under dash and are fine
so have i blown both lights or are there more fuses ?

If you spend the extra $$ and get some hella reflectors it's well worth it, bout $50 each from memory. Puts out a much better light. They aren't a sealed beam so you can just replace the bulbs when the die. Good luck with it.

Well said, the best option if the coin is available, is the replacement reflectors. Much more focused light, where you need it and you can put in larger globes (with an appropriate wiring looms)
Narva and Hella both make these, about $100 bucks for the Narvas (2 reflectors) and a little more for the Germans (hellas)
Cheers, Dano.
