It's going to be along way off of fitting. The bar will loose most of it's strength by the time you cut the top and back out of it to fit the bulk of the 8274. You'll have to cut the grille and it's supporting panelwork out too.

In any case, the ARB mounts were never designed for that much winch load (or weight!) so the mounts and the end of the chassis won't be happy.

Cool winch, bad application.

I'm fitting one into the back of a 1.0 trayback atm.

You'd be better off starting from scratch than trying to work with the ARB bar.

its going to be a race car and i wanted to use just the frame of the bar and custom make all the mounts not sure if it will fit on the flat part on the front of the bar tho the winch is also widened 50 mm.

It's too tall. The top will have to come out of the bar. Highmounts use a much bigger drum.

I would have thought for any sort of competition 56KG right out the front of the car would be the last thing you'd want. (even for winch challenges)

I looked into using an ARB bar with the high mount on my old zuk, ended going for a custom bar as it meant I didn't need to butcher the panels.

Here is a pic, have more if you want them.

We got a high mount in the ARB low mount bar, we just added some extra plating up the front and a fedw gussets here and there. Its all good.

I wouldn't chop an arb bar up, sell it and start from scratch.
if your drum is 50mm wider then your bolt hole won't line up either I would think!

try and get the winch back as far as possible, I moved my radiator and fan back 25mm and cut the grill support!
gave me a good approach angle

the winch in my current truck will be in the rear and fed forward as I want a really good approach, lower weight at the front and a more stock look with a simple bar, as there will be an intercooler in the grill!

just a thought

Arb bar, modded hi-mount. Never had a drama. bar didn't bend. Just brace the back, you'll be fine.

modded Arb bar, modded low mount, still never had problems.

Why so many winches when you'd rarely get stuck Liam? lol

1.drag mates out
2.piss people off
3. you can always get stuck if you really apply yourself.

Hay liam have you spaced out your bar ?? every other suzuki i've seen running an ARB bar with a Hi-mount has had to hack the grille and the lower radiator support :?
