Generation 2 Pajero FSM for Electrical System

Does anyone have an FSM (factory service manual) for a gen II Pajero electrical system? I am trying to get a copy of the schematics of the system that operates the power folding mirrors. from what I understand so far, the system consists of an ECU, switch panel, and the motorized mirrors. If anyone knows if the US Spec Monteros were pre-wired for this option, please let me know.

any help is greatly appreciated. bottom line: I want to install power folding mirrors in my 1997 Montero SR.

Yes, I went there, the one FSM for a gen II pajero is actually for the sport model, not the full size pajero. do you know if the wiring is exactly the same?

What I am really after is the wiring schematics for the power folding mirrors. In the pajero FSM on that web site, it does not mention anything about the power folding mirrors. Does anyone have an FSM that contains the wiring schematics of the power folding mirrors?

It's all there.
The FSM electrical supplement 92-95 is for the Pajero/Montero (not Sport)and covers the 3.5 V6.
It is a 21.5 Meg file.
Should have what you need.

Thanks Frank, I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.

BTW, I sent you a PM. Not sure if you remember me or not, but I was interested in the left over sway bar disconnects you had for a 27 mm sway bar. remember I was working a deal with you to pay extra to have them bored out to 29mm? can you still work this deal for me? If it helps any, I know of 3 other people that would purchase with me to make a total of 4. Please let me know if you can still work this; I am willing to pay whatever is required.

Frank, it was my mistake, the old units that you were going to bore out were 28mm not 27mm. either way, we were going to bore them out to 29mm. let me know if you can still work this deal.

Thank you

Frank:

I looked in that file that you mentioned from the mitsubishi links website and did not see it mentioned anywhere about the power folding mirror option. it only gives information about the power adjustment motors and the heated mirror option.

Am I overlooking it? If so, could someone point it out to me? I swear up and down it is not in there, I looked cover to cover a few times.

Maybe dealers down there in australia might be able to provide the schematics for the power folding mirror motors with the ECU pin outs?

any help would be greatly appreciated. I will pay pal anyone who can send me the schematics and source me the parts (mirrors, ECU, and factory switch panel).

I misread your first post I thought you were converting from manual to power mirrors but you have a SR which already has power/heated mirrors.
Electric folding mirrors were not an option on the Pajero/Montero to my knowledge (certainly not in Oz) we didn't even get the heated mirrors (only manual or electric operated).
If they existed the only market would have been the Jap domestic market I suspect where there were some exotic options like the 2" adjustable suspension.
But again I've never heard of them on a Pajero/Montero.

With the Articulators - they are no more, finished, kapput forever.
The guy who made them moved back permanently to the UK a while ago and before he did cleared out his old workshop of leftovers (in the trash bin). There is nothing left. I don't plan to do anything myself with swaybar disconnects as I just don't have the time.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

By chance, I figure it can't hurt to ask, does anyone have a contact with Mitsu that might be able to get me those mirrors or the schematics?

Thanks again guys for all your help.
