You will benifit more from a 2'' body and 2" suspension as it will give you better articulation. if you go 4" higher try some slightly offset rims for a wider track and wack some flares on.

Nylon blocks aren't necessarily road legal, some states require alloy...

If your jimny has the g series engine use Ben Towse adaptor kit for the baleno motor and use the jimny injection.
Fit 30's on 15x7 zero offset with 2" body and 2" suspension lift - no cutting.

Fortunately for me i live in a small country named Barbados where rules like what u put on to ur Zuk in terms of mods do not exist muah ha ha ha ha but i would like to keep the look almost as standard as possible (ie keep the front bumper)
If your jimny has the g series engine use Ben Towse adaptor kit for the baleno motor and use the jimny injection. Can u give me a link as to where i can find this
i am currently looking for 15x8 rims with a 2an a half back spacing depending on how they feel and look i may put on some 2" spacers also hidden under some bush wacker flares i an molding

Welcome to to the wonderful world of Jimny mods
A 2 + 2 lift is perfect for what you need, 30s will fit fine. The Old Man Emu lift kit is nice and flexy, it comes in a 50mm. As suggested, Jimny.se is a wealth of info and also hop on over to:
www.dgtuning.com -
They have just about every solution you are looking for and Dieter is happy to answer any questions. Just a warning though, your gearing will suck

so you may want to have a look at options for that.
Don't forget... we need pics!

hey mate i have a 99 model jimny which is now a trayback ute cant imagine much would be different but i put a 1.6 vit efi engine in mine with the 4 spd overdrive box. set up dual transfer with series 4 reduction gears.. a set of toyota bundera diffs give the wider track needed for ur lift i have 80 mm suspension and found it quite safe. Alot of work but i wouldnt change a thing ive done to it.

Thanks for all the info as i am now processing all of it
One little problem the exchange rate it would be more than or about $7000.00 dollars from D&G that's a lil to steep for just a 2" lift here it's like $1 USD to $2 BDS i have been on old man emu and not found any Jimny lift kits
For some reason i hardly see anyone's Jimny having the tire passing the fender this is why i would like to go 15x8 rims i want mine to have a more aggressive look to it
Any and all info prices and web sites to locate and install the1600cc engine please don't hesitate to share
