diff ratios

Post by want to be a wylie »

hi there

what is to go with diff ratios

was thinking of putting 4.8.8 in to my gq
but have been told that were they come from, there not the best quality
(the ring and pinion that is)

and that i should opt for 4.6.25 (or somthing like that not sure of exact ratio?) becaus i can buy them genuine from nissan

oh i am running 37" black stuff

whats the truth and how much are they /were do they come from

i believe 4.8s would return it to the standard ratio for 38's and 4.6 is standard for 35's. personally i would go with 4.6's as it seems to rev a bit too much with 35's so 37's should be nice.. also you can get genuine nissan gears in 4.6
01 td42 GU patrol ute, with extra bits and pieces.
