head swap question

a mate has a 1. 3 head of a seirra .will that fit on to a 1.6 E F I block and if so will it work ok .any power gains . cheers ron

i have wondered this aswell but with gti head as i have gti conversion really bad wen off road no tourque need to rev the hell out it and ride the clutch to get any where

thats usually because of the bottom end.

A GTI motor good only if you run the lower transfer gears with it but very nice on the road

Yes it will bolt up, yes it will work.
Should move the torque curve a to the lower end of the rev range.
Make sure you get the gasket on the right way around. (will bolt up upside down, but blocks an oil gallery)

I've got a 1.6 bottom end/gti head.
Worth it? Perhaps.
Personally I think a standard g16b will do everything you need, without the complications of the head swap.
