Why are you selling the Sierra? Might help answer the context of your question.

Im selling my zook as i need something a bit softer in the ride department , thats why i'm looking at a vitara better on the old spine as i have osteoporosis in it.

Well my (Grand) Vitara is a real pleasure to drive. Its light, nimble and comfortable. The seats are pretty thin but suits me OK.
You are going to have to take one for a test drive...

or you could instal a suspension seat or beter seating. Play around with the suspension setup to get a nice smooth setup. You have a LWB don'y you? If so they can be made to ride very smoothly, just as nice or even better than a SWB Vitara

Might give it a go and see if i can "soften" it up first as i don't really want to sell it. Thanks guys.

Have just done what your thinkin about...... DO IT!
I had the sierra on the 32" swampers front and rear lockers crawler gears all that stuff and have just gone into the vitara runnin about 6" of lift guard chop and the swampers!
Really suprised me with how it go's! Have a rear air locker to go in and i will put the stronger front diff in and i don't think i will even worrie about the front locker!
The ride is awsome, the extra power is awsome i was always on the sierra band wagon but far from it now.....
