i was going to put an extra cab body on untill i was told you need to get it engineered. You might want to check that to c if its right/wrong!
Easyer buying one if thats true.

I recently put a 2WD 94 SR5 Extra cab on an 84 Extra cab chassis, the body bolts up nice but it's almost a foot longer, requiring you to relocate the rear Cab mount and Lop off the forward tray mounts, the floor pan is also different, even with my 3inch body lift the floor only just clears the tailshaft x-member.
I'd imagine the Dual and single cabs would be the same lengths and you wouldn't have the floor pan issues if you used a 4WD cabin.
you'll also need the speedo & Throttle cable from your old Tub, handbrake cables and if using a 2WD tub you'll need to either modify the base of the steering column using parts from your old one or get a 4WD one from the same model

I was too late on getting the '02 dual cab...
$$$ is the only problem for me... I have a rebuilt 2.4D motor and a LN65 chassis here... but the cab is cactus and I dont like the LN65 cabs... I was thinking of a LN106 at least... And yes it will be a 4x4 cab not a 4x2 cab...
Cheers
