Hi mate. As this thread isn't exactly "nissan" related, you probably should have posted in either "general 4x4 tech" OR "auto electrical".
Secondly, i dare say if you had a search/browse around you would have found your answer.
Now, to answer your question. Depending on the age/quality/abuse your solenoid box has had will depend on whether it needs a fix up or replacement.
Basically if it looks like its going to need more than a few hours and a few parts - just chase up tigerz11 off this forum and get a new "titan style" winch controller pack.

I have no idea how much parts for a rebuild would cost as there is several options available (complete DIY, Warn kit, other branded kit).
Tigerz11 (Paul) used to sell titan "style" winch solenoid packs like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Winch-Titan-12V- ... 240%3A1318
And as per the add, hobzee off here also sells them.
I'm not trying to upset any other traders, and i'm not saying that any traders on OL are bad, but i have dealt with Paul several times and have always been looked after really well. His prices are bloody good, and he always (for me anyway) did an overnight express delivery at no extra charge.
I've never had ANY problems with his actual products (3x synthetic winch ropes, 2x solenoid packs, 1x wireless winch controller, 2x hawse fairleads), but he's always been 110% happy to help out if there is dramas.
Check out this thread for a customer service example:

Anyway - hope that helps. PM Paul (tigerz11) if you need pricing.
