GOT A GQ WAGON ON GAS WITH A SUB FUEL TANK. THE GQ IS ON 6 INCHS. IT HAS A BENT TOP ARM HOWEVER IT STILL FOULS ON THE TANK ON FULL ARTICULATION

Have modified a number of tanks due to this, cut a section out.

hi mate

i just cut the tank straight down, Inline with teh upper control arm mount.

you looose a few litres, but you dont have any problems!

Had to cut mine down with a 4" lift
Also hit with the 2" lift in it
Only noticed when I was trying to get the springs out

surely the arm will dent the tank enough to not make it a problem anymore after a while?
