Just wondering if anyone had done a stainless snorkel on a Desiel 80?

Would you do it again?

Any Pics???

I have some stainless cheap think I might go with it, might be able to do the whole job for under $400

Jason from JT Fibreglass in Bayswater has a cool 80 with a one piece 4 inch snorkel, looks sick, forget where he got it done. Try contacting him.

I did mine 80 snork in SS with rubber bends. I used some polyethylene (PE) mounting blocks riv-nutted to the guard, and some SS strap around the pipe to the PE blocks, with a Donaldson ram-head thingy on top.

Was easy to do, looks neat, works well, doesn't leak and cost me very little.

Yes. I would do it again.

P.S. I used 3" as that is the size of the inlet on the airbox and couldn't see any point using larger pipe than the inlet....

IMHO... you might not need 4" dia pipe, but they look allot better than going 3", and if your going for polished stainless, the looks department are fairly important
