is there a better intake /exhaust gasket for a 2f engine a new acl gasket has only lasted about 2000kays of driving

in usa there is a remflex gasket that sounds great but the company wants $116us shipping plus the $60us for the gasket so id rahter spend 300bux on something more than a gasket

ive always used a extractor gasket on any other engine are these avaliable for a 2f??

ACL make an extractor gasket, part no DSF32.

The extractor mounting face is prone to warping if fuel mixture is not right and too much heat is developed. You can always use 2 gaskets, they are cheap enough.

if you can take the extractors/headers off and have them machined by a reputable machine shop to make sure the surface is flat.

Also, when re-installing them, emsure that you tighten the bolts from the inside out, that is ports three and four, then two and five, then one and six.

I had a standard extractor gasket on my '82 2F troopy and never had a problem with it....
