G'day all,

here is a pic of my RR, stock except for the 2" pedders suspension lift.

Box is back in, waiting for oil seal to put transfercase in, also swapping diff's over too.

I am putting RR diff's from a older 2 door in (hub to hub), on the rear diff of the 2drs the shocks mount one infront of the diff and one behind the the diff, but my RR has both mounted to the front, I can move the driverside top mount to the rear (holes already there to bolt it on) which will mount up right with the 2dr diff mounts, but how much down travel will i loose? will it change the handling?

2 dr diff casings are more rounder where the 4dr diff casing has the flat section on the bottom, does the 4dr diffs have more ground clerance? stronger or is there no real differance other than apperance?

Das,

Get some later model housings with the flat bottom, Yes they do offer more ground clearence. The shockers are better being both to the front for on road handling as for travel, it can have a limiting factor (being to the rear).

cheers
