ok so this the rear of my bundera, i am yet to make up the frame for the size of the window im after, my question is this, i intend on using some 6mm perspex as the window itself, how would you go about installing this so it was flush with my panelling, does clark rubber or any other shop make a product that is say 10-15 mm wide on top with a ridge or fin in it that can be pressed down into a 5mm channel to waterproof, and make the edging appear neater, i just made up the measurements, just need to know if such a product is availabe, any other suggestions would be great..
cheers

I install windows in vans at work and you just need some window rubber and locking strip. You will need a tool to install the locking strip tho. It may be easier to take it to a windscreen mob and they may have rubber and the tools to do the job.

If you plan on getting it rego'd use glass as perspex is illegal- it has to be toughened glass with the safety standard etched onto it. Using a ute back window would be the cheapest and easiest option.

I got rid of a Suzuki rear window about two weeks ago that you could of had for nothing.
Looking at your framework above it might be worth measuring up a hardtop zook window. Otherwise, as mentioned, go measure up some utes.

Are you after some completely odd size? I'd of thought a rear window from a Cruiser ute would be the obvious choice. Even just graft the back wall of the cab from one on.

Im looking at doing something similar in the future....
The 3 options I was going to investigate was:
(I wanted a sliding window)
- front window from a fiberglass canopy
- custom window + frame to my size made by a aluminium window mob
- see if I can get a carvan / truck window to fit
Cheers
