The only LEGAL way to have a SOA Zook in Qld is to put a Zook body on a Lux chassis.
OR
fit coils which are technically SOA. ;)

31s are illegal anyway in QLD but to fit 31s you only need 2" of lift plus a 2" body lift. or you could cut the guards and give yourself a virtual lift which is explained in the bible (or Porn Warehouse if you prefer) :D

Rubbish, i ran around with 31' MTR's on F100 rims with only 2" lifted kings springs and koni's for years with no body lift and no guard chop

either didn't do much offroading or the springs were of the non-flex variety.

Yeah, 31s 2" King Springs and no body lift works, rides like the bodies welded to the axle. I need to get the body lift in and do the springs. :D

and how much did the tyres foul on body parts, how much flex did you have, did you do anything with your bump stops, was it a WT or NT? Because I am yet to see a 2" lift and no other mods successfully clear 31s. Can't say that it wont but I have never seen it work and I've seen quite a few people who seem to think they do until they destroy their tyres on the first 4wd trip they do.

I'm not having a go I do want to know as I haven't seen one. If you have successfully done it alot of people will be interested to see how and what the results were

my sierra has pretty big wheels, not exactly sure how big but the guy i bought it off told me they were 31's but measuring them on the car from the ground to the top at about 25Psi they measure 29 inches. the body lift was only put in the front (stupid mechanic) 2 square 2inch pipes behind bumper, the only scrub is on the springs when the wheels are turned full, easy to get around this by knowing how far you can turn the wheels.

Scrubbing on the springs can be fixed with bigger negative offfset rims. No offence, but 31's are not big these days.
You might want to fix that body lift up, as having half the car done and half not is a pretty dodgy way of clearing tyres.

Layto....

also to find out how big the tyres are just read the size off the side of the tyre

for good 4wd's 31's are about atandard i think but for a sierra well they look huge anyway, lol its canary yellow with a blue soft top and the back spare wheel was used in an artwork so has red paint on the tread friends think barbie and ken owned one once. the wheels only just sit in the guards so dont want to make em wider, still makes all turns just parking is like a larger car. the bodylift is very dodgey i think but it actually works, and i didnt do it, was the mechanic who sold it to me, will fix it one day.

not sure what you are on about but I think you'll find having only half a body lift in done the way you sort of described is just asking for trouble. It will cause extra stress on body mounts, will be likely to break, and will just look even more stupid than what your car sounds like. Get that fixed, get either your suspension fixed, the right size tyres or complete the body lift using a proper kit.

31s on a Sierra aren't that huge, they do require gearing to make them effective, but they aren't that big. 31s on other 4wds aren't very big at all either.
