Just wondering would a three link front , simaler to a Rangy rear , be engineerable or is there a reason it may not be workable ect?

Off course the link would have to be positioned as not to interfer with sump ect .

the only real drama (providing you can actually fit the a-frame in there)will be the a-frame forcing the axle to stay centred, rather than having a panhard swing the axle on an arc mimicing the drag-link. if you can get it set up so the drag link is dead flat it should behave well enough on the road, but will probably self steer a fair bit off road. same as a leaf speing setup but a bit harsher cause the coils will act a bit more dynamically....
give it a go anyway.. just argue with the engineers, that several million suzuki's and 60 & 70 series cruisers came from the factory with the same handling traits..

I think i grasp what your saying wendle.

I supose if it is not such a great setup , i could change the top link to two links and add the eeerrrrrr panhard rod . presto Five , Hay .
In the think tank .Thanks wendle.

Dozoor, you will be using a panhard wont you ?? (if your using a rangie setup) They you wont have issues with A frame clearance .. as you wont have one :)
