The other two are 45deg bends mate. To get it into the original airbox i just took the 3" 90deg bend and the small rubber bend on airbox into bunnings and found some pvc that fit beautifully. There is a stepped reducer that fits the 3", then for the airbox rubber bend i think a female to female 2" (i think) adapter.

airbox is 2.5inch.. that's why i did my whole thing from 2.5...
and it was free

I used a 60 degree bend going up the windscreen, and then a 30 at the top so the ram head sits level.

I used 3 inch exhaust pipe, and then got a silicone 3 inch to 60mm adapter bend to go onto the airbox - just gotta weld on some tabs, rivnut it to the windscreen and it is almost done...

Is it the well used body or the big tyres that do it for you Steve? :D

I'll post pics of mine when I get home and have access to photobucket again. 3" exhaust from front of guard with one 90 degree silicone bend into airbox.

Hey Jonno-racing! Yeah, cause it wasn't all stainless ( The 90 deg bend into the guard is mild steel) we just used mild wire to weld it all up but I was going to powdercoat it anyway, polished is just to blingy for me.I think it suits my jigger better being color matched anyway! Thx Robb.

Not a conventional snorkel, but plenty for everything except winch challenge or something.

Precleaners bring the cool.

How does the bonnet open past the precleaner on that one steve? Just a big hole under where the precleaner sits?

Posted: Sat Nov 15, 2008 7:59 pm
by Gwagensteve
It doesn't - you have to remove the precleaner - no biggie.
