I've got a couple of questions about these, perhaps someone knows anything about them?? I can't get onto the patrol forum (I've joined but can't get permission to post...) where I first saw them

http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18135

to ask any questions so...

Can I play large AVI/WM/mpeg files off the SD card (like 700mb?) That'd give me the ability to play a movie... Which I like the sound of!

Does anyone have the link to the hack if required?

I'm assuming the maps/programs are stored on the SD card, so there is no problem with adding OZI etc?

What the hell 'model' are these things?

Anyone found a .pdf manual for them?

That'd do it, thanks very much.

so, uh, I bought one, but I'd really like to know what the hell it is so can work on an Ozi install...

Can anyone please tell me what it is, so I can go ahead and begin modifying it...?

Re: the two imputs, I don't see why it won't work! As long as the switch cuts the input, it won't ever get two signals and you'll be sweet.

You could even crack it, and install a recorder program so you can set up another camera and record it..!

I have one similar.

Just download Ozi CE, as those GPS's run either Windows CE 4.2 or Windows CE 5.0 Ozi explorer will run on both.

You can run movies from the SD card provided you can get one big enough.

Simply copy the ozi ce program to the SD card and set the navigation option in the settings to point to the Ozi explorer executable....easy as

2GB is probly the biggest card it will run, however ive just ordered some 4GB SD cards that are NOT SDHC so hopefully they might work.
