32's should be fine, just don't labour/lug the engine in high gears - use lower gears.

And don't do any beach/sand trips for the first few thousand k's.

Isn't it ironic that when you're without it, all you want to do is wheel but when you have it, life gets in the way and you have no time to wheel...???

:finger: well after wednesday i have 4months holiday :finger: all the time then but yes its an inconvienient thats for sure, what normally is a 20min drive to work and uni works out to be at least an hr on public transport, least its not costing an arm and a leg in fuel atm

Play it safe and pop the smaller wheels on, it's a small price to pay for the added security of reducing the risk of laboring the engine.

cheers

Labouring the enigine a little will cause the rings to expand and press against the bore harder which beds in the rings better.
Nothing against the Outer's plethora of uneducated guessomology, but if i were you i'd be talking to the engine builder for the best way to treat your engine. Not every engine build requires the same run in prcedure.

worst thing you can do is actually baby the engine, but you dont want to labour it either.

Just normal driving. Dojnt think going back to 29's would do you any favours. just drive it like you would normally, (unless your a foot to the floor kinda guy :o)

General city driving will run in a new motor.
Vary revs, load etc.
Once you have a few days running on it.
You need to bed in the cyld rings.
Get moving in 1st, then open throttle 2nd, 3rd, 4th up to 3500.

Open throttle will give a good cyld fill, and bed in the rings.
Then just run normal city driving again.
You are not looking to thrash it, or lug it, but to let the rings bed in.

If you dont, then you run the risk of glazing bores, and cyld leakage with a new motor.
On the race engines we used to build, they were warmed up in the pits, and by the 2nd straight, full throttle was dialed in and off we went ;).

Just drive it normally, dont let it go below idle when taking off and dont rev the ring out of it. The little bit of extra load from the 32's wont do it any harm. Probably do it the world of good to have a bit of load on it so the rings bed in properly. If you baby it, all it will do is glaze the bore, which isnt the best thing to do to an engine that is being "run-in". Dont be affraid to make it work.
