haha thanks Dee.. but as Fords have mitsubishi alternators etc.. i hope to christ the same goes with the zooks. ha
found a samurai inlet gasket which looks very similar to my intake manifold pattern
ECU codes:
http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/topic,50379.0.html
Going bye that link the closest i could find is as follows:
94 Samurai ECM number 33920-81C30
95 Samurai ECM number 33920-81C30
maybe its off a yank zook or a jappa import?

Ok, it's obviously a Mitsubishi ecu, unfortunately that doesn't help a lot as they were used on several makes including zooks, hyundai, mazdas and amazingly, mitsubishi.
If I had to guess it would be the TBI from a Swift G16, but I can't be sure. Sorry.
If it makes you feel any better they wrote EPI in the exact same way as on yours.

Should be some wiring diagrams for the TBI setup here.

had a reply or two on zuwharrie.com:
SKYHIRANGER said: It should be like any other samurai EFI conversion (you are just using "foreign" parts....which are not really foreign to you)....remove the old wiring harness, swap the new one in, swap intakes, swap distributors, add a fuel pump, add the VSS to the speedo. No cutting, splicing, etc. of the wiring harness should be necessary.....at least that is how I did it when I swapped the samurai EFI onto my 87 samurai.
what do you guys reckon? not a bad idea as i already have the loom there etc. would be a mission pulling the dash out etc but probably worth it for a neat end result.

sounds ok.
is loom from a RHD or LHD?
i was thinking this for when i did my vit one but the a/c, fan and lights controls were all off.

good point didnt think of that.. ill lay it out in relation to the fuse box and see how it looks. worse comes to worse ill just have the 'new' fuse box on the passenger side and wiring it into the current loom.

i think Joe is on the money. its more than likely a Jap 1.3 efi setup.. as the US wiring diagram i have doesnt match up. colour codes seem to differ.
laid it all out on the garage floor and it looks to be for a RHD zook. it is missing a few plugs here and there that i can tell so may just strip the loom and splice it in for power. keeping the fusebox for future accessories etc.
if anyone has diagrams for the jap model feel free to lob em my way.. i will keep hunting in the meantime.

I found that even though the colour of the wires was different, the acutal pin-out from the ECU was pretty much the same on most of the setups i have dealt with. Might be worth checking with a multi metre and see how close it is.

ta Layto, ill try work out the wiring and make up my own wiring diagram for future use. may help once in the beast.
will get the multimeter onto it and take it from there.
thanks again!
