Bonnet Rubber Stoppers

Post by Swerve »

I found something really cool this morning on my GU. For months, possibly years I’ve been watching my bonnet shake as the bonnet rubbers were wearing. Looking at Ebay I’m a tight ar$e and didn’t want to pay $35 for adjustable ones.

Well this morning I could have sworn it was worse, figured I would have a quick look !!! I twisted it and blow me down !!! They are adjustable from factory, they are just rubber but a like a screw thread grove, which is how they stay in, hence I adjusted them this morning and all fixed !!!

they screw themselves back down pretty quickly. Im always adjusting them a bit higher before i get onto the highway. 6hours later im doing it again. Time to glue a stopper in the thread im thinking.
