I know at least one bloke off here has done a coil conversion, sickgq I think his username was. That was done at PatrolaPart in Melbourne - (03) 9735 9099. From memory they used a GQ diff for some reason.

Thanks.
To anyone who has done the conversion, or been in both the leaf and coil rear utes is there much difference in comfort ?
I have been in heaps of wagons and they are like being in a Limousine, compared to the ride in my ute.
Is it worth farting around with a heavier tray and custom leaf packs and drop shackles or should i get the conversion done and be happy with it ?
The ute does medium range offroading ( as much as my back can handle) and lots of fishing/hunting trips but hardly EVER carries a heavy load.

is there any reason why you cant get the leaf set up to work nicely?
and i dont think you need a heavy tray if your leaves are set up correctly...
go to the rover section, look up "isuzurover" he knows a fair bit about leaves...

Sell it and buy a coil cab if you really need one, but otherwise change the leaf pack. If your not into anything serious, stick with what your got.

I have just modified my leaf pack and moved shock mounts and it works ok. Ride is not to bad either but not as soft as coils.
