I've got one of these that got hammered one time too many and I've had to weld the stopper pin mechanism back together as per the pic.

Trouble is when it fell apart I suspect there was a washer, or stopper that fell off with it and I can't work out how to put the pin back together. It seems like such a simple thing but I'd be stuffed if I can work it out.

If anyone has one of these could they post a pick or description of how the pin is put together.

Thanks.

on mine there is a sticker on the arm that holds the wheel with a part number ring TJM and ask for a breakdown of the holder assembly.

Thanks for the reply rg.

I went into to my local TJM stockist a few days ago and unfortunately they couldn't help me. They had a number of spare parts listed for the carrier, but alas no pin

There's a picture in their catalogue here

but it's not of a high enough resolution to see how it is setup.

I reckon all I need is a stay of some sort that fits into one of the grooves on the pin. If you could possibly post a close up pick of yours (if it's the same as mine) I would very much appreciate it.

here ya go man
you should have the spring inside the c section so when you pull up the spring is compressed up in the bracket and to stop the pin from coming out you need a c clip on the shaft please refer photos.

Thanks a million rg. I'll grab a C clip and try to get it going. I can see how it could compress the spring as the shaft has a thinner section that the clip couldn't pass but I'm assuming the clip will grip the shaft hard enough to stop it falling lower than it is.
Thanks again.
