can i get some opinions on this winch please....iv searched the net for info but would also like some personal ones if anyones used it or heard about it....

its actually branded a Golden Winch made in china...lol...so im tippin that parts arnt going to be that availible...unless someone else sells them in aus under another name, im not sure....but it is half the price of a warn.

There's another chinese made warn copy winch called a Duke or something... but i didn't find them particularly impressive at all.

Again - they were half the price of a warn, but the fellow who had it then needed to get a custom bull bar made bacause the mounts were not the same as a warn winch (which is of course what arb bars etc are made to house).

Ramseyrep 8000 copy.
Permanent magnet motor.
Not as good torque as a series wound motor. May lose magnet strength if run hot.

and can lose magnetic strength going over corregations.

Are these the ones they sell in Gasweld for about $800 ?
