SD33 Radiator pressure ?????

Greetings
I was checking the fluids in my old MQ SD33 Patrol several weeks ago and noticed that when opening the radiator when it was cold that there was still a bit of pressure. Enough to make the fluid spray everywhere and for there to be a loud hiss. I found that the hose to the overflow bottle was clogged with rusty buildup so I cleaned all that out and assumed all was well. I checked the fluid again last night when it was cold and again there was pressure when opening the cap. I'm thinking that there shouldn't be any pressure in the radiator. Though this is my first diesel so I thought I would post it here and see what others think? New cap time?
