Does anyone do a kit to change these V8's to a Japanese diesel?

There are plenty of these running around the UK. Check out some UK websites or look in the LRO magazime for info on kits etc.

If you are planning a Tdi300 into a Range Rover, body lift is not absolutely necessary BUT nearly impossible to get the rocker cover off if you do not. I did a 2" bodylift, gave us plenty of room.

What did you have to change in the way of engine mounts and gearboxes?

I have seen a couple of ISUZU 4JB1T conversions (2.8L rodeo/jackaroo/trooper engine). Works well. Adaptor plate is 400+GBP though!
