I have my rego and insurance due and I am looking for options / recommendations for NSW Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurers who are friendly to modded trucks. The GQ has full engineer's cert and is 100% in compliance with the certification and RTA roadworthy requirements.
This is the first year I have had to worry about CTP + modded 4b.
Any thoughts / experiences and $ estimates would be much appreciated.
Cheers, JK

I've never had a problem JK, any of the companys should do as it is only personal injury. What I will say is shop around and you can save yourself up to $200. I think I paid $320 last year for the 80.

Privided you can unconditionally register the vehicle any CTP insurer must do it. Check this link for prices http://www.maa.nsw.gov.au/greenslips13prices.htm.
If you have conditional rego you pay your CTP through the RTA and QBE is the insurer.

Yeah that's pretty much where I got to. Looks like I will be up for about $460 / yr no matter which provider I go to. Certainly has gone up from last year.
