More Travel On Rear of Lux

Got a 3'' lift with 2'' body. Im pretty happy with the flex as i can tuck the front wheel 33'' in the guard.
But would like to get more travel from the rear, was thinking of inverting shocks. Would this help? Was looking at superior drop shakles any feed back on these would be appreciated.
Cheers

If your sticking with leaves IFS rears are the way to go, they seem to work pretty well, but you will get done by DOT for them, if your adding droppies then they well flex even more and work really well, be aware droppies are illegal on road also so i spose it depends what you mind putting on your truck!

Inverting shocks will also help, but doing this alone is not the solution.^^

Ive done 3 link coils and got them mod plated on the rear, more expensive option but it is all legal.

Cheers

ifs leaves are a cheap way to go but the hole long shackle setup scares me a bit,a mate had them and it worked well, before this he also ran drop shackles,it flexed well but handled crappy?.i run 2" springs in mine and they just arent long enough and have a crappy shackle angle and invert quick so with 3" id be thinking your springs could be short, maybe get a longer top leaf made up???along with inverting shocks in.if only they worked like the front end hey

If you take a few leaves out it will only help up travel. The springs will flex until there flat but the down stays the same. The only real way is longers leaves with long shackles.

shocks look like this / \

instead of one facing slightly foward and one slightly back they face toward each other like my sophisticated drawing above.

hey mate..i've got a suzuki sierra, running hilux diffs and springs (lux fronts in the rear). I've got climax drop shackles, and inverted rear shocks, and love the results im getting, I've got bugga all bad things to say about drop shackles, although alot of other people do!! My advice, go with superiour drop shackles over the climax ones, as the superiour ones can pivot sideways. And yes, invert your shocks, and remove some leaves :) It isnt a very good pic of the rear flexing, but the rear passenger wheel is firmly on the ground still. oh, and yes, i have fixed the pressure on the bushes in the 2nd pic ;)

that right hand shock in the picture is mounted nicely haha

there is nothing wrong with the climax drop shackles, they do give alot of flex but from my personal experience i hav e seen then unload on a lwb suzuki sierra and tipped it on its side on a medium hard trail

each side has to articulate alot more to max the shocks out when there inverted

You can see where ive marked in red circle thats roughly stock location when the drivers side of the diff droops down it creats a angle so the shock bushs move/bend/twist until the shock binds on the mount, inverting deletes this problem
