time to get greasy..
theres a circlip that stops the ballbearing cradle thing from sliding out of the cup. remove that and you will be left with the carrier and ball bearings etc on the shaft. at the end of the shaft there is a circlip you need to use circlip pliers to remove.
hope that makes sence to you...

Do you need to remove it from the shaft or you actually want to remove the centre from the housing. For what reason? To clean the outer cv i just wash it thoroughly in a parts washer then re-grease it down the middle with a tube which pushes the grease through the balls etc.

Ok. Move the shaft down so the axle / shaft is supported by the vice then tap the joint off with a hammer. Hit it closer to the shaft so there is no load on the joint. Some come off easy and some need a good whack. If its being a bitch then maybe rotate the shaft in the vice and hit a different spot. There is a circlip on the end of the shaft that holds the joint on. Once the joint is off clean it out and add grease down the centre where the shaft goes. Then just tap the joint back onto the shaft and this will push the grease through the joint. Hope this helps...
