Hi all,
I am owner of Vitara 1.6 16V 1992 automatic transmission and LSD rear diff.
now I have grinding noise /wind up and binding from rear diff.
clutches to replace ?
I can remove the clutches or I must acquire a new rear diff ?
thank you.

Vitaras in Australia did not have the LSD differential. There will not be much advice on here to help you.

I believe LSD's were fitted to some european market models.

AFAIK they were clutch units like toyota LSD's so they are pretty much useless from an offroad point of view.

Mine has an LSD, I put it in myself. It works well on loose stuff but not so if you lift a wheel

Calmini sold them and they are a suzuki part for other markets not in Aus or the US

Yea LSD oil and I think it was 85W, standard use for an LSD, if you know what I mean.
