Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I need to take the old free spool lever out, and replace it with a newer one,

The old one is jammed,

How do i get the old one out?

I no this is a reeally stupid question, And i shouldnt be touchin it coz i dont no what im doin but im tryin to learn!

if the old lever is jammed putting a new one on may not fix the problem. you'll find the sliding gear to engage the drum is either full of crap or dry, if it won't move niether will the handle. take it apart and service it or get someone to do it for you.

depending on what type of winch it is you can get them out easily on a highmount just undo the 4 bolts and it should come out.

just slammed a new free spool in, the old one was rusted in place,

the new one fixed it a pearler!

As Joe said you need to strip it down and clean out the gunk.
